Motorola has started its 2024 with a powerful banger. Moto has dropped Moto G34 5G in the market. The handset is priced at 10K and in this range, it packs some phenomenal stuff. so let's check what makes G34 make him the powerful handset in this segment.

1. PHYSICAL OVERVIEW
By Physical, the Moto G34 looks like a very good-looking device. The leather finish on the back gives a premium touch and feel. As for the look and feel, G34 comes in both plastic back and leather back. The camera bump at the beginning may feel weird, but it's okay. As for the dimensions, The weight of the handset is around 179 grams and has 8mm thickness.
As for the ports and buttons, on the bottom, we get a 3.5mm Jack, a Type-C port, a mic and a speaker grill. on the left side, we get a SIM card tray, which is a Hybrid SIM slot (either 1 SIM + 1 SD Card or Both SIMs). On the right side, we get a power button, which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner and volume buttons. On the top side, we get a secondary microphone and a Dolby Atmos branding. The Display of Moto G34 is only the con part of this device. The handset comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ 120Hz IPS Display. It is an HD display, which is a con for a 10K phone as from other brands, we have got FHD+ resolution displays.
The display is Bright with 500 nits brightness and it has a 120Hz refresh rate support. The display is smooth and decent. The bezels are okay, the bottom chin is quite big, but it's acceptable at this price.
3. HARDWARE
The Hardware on Moto G34 is one of the USPs of this device. It comes with Snapdragon's SD 695 Processor. Yes, it's a Sub15-20K bracket ranged chipset and Moto has brought this chipset in the 10K price range, which now really justifies the price of SD 695. It is a powerful processor in this segment.
It is based on 6nm architecture with 2.2Ghz clockspeed and Adreno 619 GPU, which is better than the Adreno 616 GPU, which we get in the SD 4Gen2 chipset. SD 695 is a tried and tested processor, it can handle tasks easily and fluently.
As for the RAM and storage variants, It will come in 4GB and 8GB RAM Variants. The RAM type is LPDDR4X and the storage is 128GB UFS 2.2. This is a 10K phone and the hardware is looking promising and powerful in this handset.
4. SOFTWARE
The software is a part, where Moto deserves an appreciation. It is 2024, and Moto G34 is the first phone in the budget section to load Android 14 out of the box. The handset comes with A-14 with MyUX 14.0. The UI is clean, but some bloatware can be seen in this handset, which can be easily deleted.
The UI is smooth and snappy and it doesn't stutter. But, there is a weird part, whenever you download a social media app or some game, it makes a folder in the app tray section, where the folder may contain ads, the folder can be deleted easily, but it is observed, so Moto team should can do something there.
5. SECURITY
Moto G34 comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock. As for the updates, it will receive one major OS update and 3 years of security patches.
Moto G34 comes with motorola's own security system: Thinkshield for phones. It helps to keep handsets safe.
6. CAMERA
Moto G34 comes with a 50MP F/1.8 main shooter and a 2MP F/2.4 Macro lens, which is a useless sensor. It also has a 16MP F/2.2 selfie camera. The camera quality is quite good and it clicks good photos with good sharpening and details.
As for the recording, it can record up to FHD 60 FPS video quality. It also has an EIS system, which helps to stabilize video frames by crop[ping the video.
7. BATTERY
As for the battery, G34 comes with a standard 5000Mah battery with 18W fast charger. Depending on usage, it has a great battery life and may easily go a day or longer without charging.
The battery can easily last up to a day, thanks to SD 695 optimization. The battery backup is good and decent.
8. OTHER FEATURES
Moto G34 also features an IP52 protection rating. It is a 5G handset, as it has 13 5G bands support. It also has WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. It also supports VolTE and LTE+ i.e. carrier aggregation.
