The Realme Narzo N65 5G is a budget-friendly smartphone that offers decent specifications for its price range. With a sleek design, large display, capable processor, and decent camera setup, the Narzo N65 5G is a compelling option for those seeking a 5G-enabled device on a tight budget.

The device boasts a modern and stylish design, available in two attractive colors: Amber Gold, Deep Green. The phone measures 165.6 x 76.1 x 7.89mm and weighs 190 grams, making it relatively slim and lightweight. The Realme Narzo N65 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels, a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 625 nits. The display also boasts TÃœV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for eye protection during extended use.

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo N65 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, an octa-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz which delivers smooth and efficient performance for everyday tasks and moderate level of gaming. In terms of memory and storage, the device comes with two variants 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage, with the option to expand via a microSD card.

The Realme Narzo N65 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14. The user interface is sleek and intuitive, with a range of customization options and features like a Mini Capsule, Air Gesture, and more. The device is also expected to receive 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security upadtes, ensuring that users have access to the latest security patches and features.

The camera setup includes a dual rear camera system, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP Auxillary lens, which is pretty useless. For selfies and video calls, the Narzo N65 5G features an 8MP front-facing camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. The device's camera performance is also decent. While it may not be the best camera phone in its class, the Narzo N65 5G's camera capabilities are sufficient for casual photography and social media use.

The Narzo N65 5G houses a large 5,000mAh battery which provides all-day battery life. The device also supports 15W charging support. Which is pretty slow if we compared to other devices like Motorola G34, Poco M6 and Narzo 70x.

The Realme Narzo N65 5G is priced at ₹11,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹12,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It will be available for purchase starting May 31st through Amazon and the official Realme website.

In conclusion, the Realme Narzo N65 5G is a good choice for those seeking a budget-friendly 5G smartphone with decent specifications. However, there are a few areas where Realme could have improved the device further. Firstly, the inclusion of an 18W charger instead of a 15W charger would have significantly reduced charging times for the 5000mAh battery. Additionally, offering an FHD+ display instead of an HD+ panel would have made the Narzo N65 5G more competitive in the sub-₹12,000 price segment, as some rivals like Motorola, Poco, and Redmi already provided FHD+ displays in this range.

As a tech enthusiast I will suggest users to search for some better options like Moto G34, Poco M6, Redmi 12, Lava storm 5G etc. If you are a Realme fanboy, then I will suggest you to go for Narzo 70x or Realme 12x which provides similar specifications at the same price point.
